The Apollo X8p 8-Channel thunderbolt audio interface with UAD DSP heritage edition from Universal Audio provides you with pristine conversion and powerful DSP in an all-in-one recording solution. This interface comes with the Realtime Analog Classics Plus plug-in bundle, as well as an additional 10 premium UAD plug-ins valued at over $2,400. You'll have access to compressors, EQs and mic preamps that provide stunningly accurate emulations of coveted analog gear. The Apollo X8p features eight Unison-enabled mic preamps that offer impedance matching and the tone of sought-after mic preamps from Neve, API, Manley, SSL, Avalon, Helios and Universal Audio.

The Apollo X8p is equipped with HEXA Core processing, Universal Audio's most powerful DSP. It provides six DSP chips and 50-percent more processing power than previous Apollos, so you can run more UAD plug-ins in real time. Track and mix using channel strips, preamps, compressors and EQs from Neve, Manley, SSL, API, Avalon, Helios and Universal Audio with near-zero latency.

Seamless Integration with LUNA Recording System
The Apollo X8p fully integrates with the LUNA Recording System, Universal Audio's music production software. LUNA provides an intuitive single-window workflow with unlimited track counts, full AU plug-in support, and exclusive LUNA Instruments and Extensions. You'll be able to track and mix faster than ever before.

Flexible I/O and Routing
With 16x22 simultaneous inputs and outputs (8x14 analog I/O) and two built-in Thunderbolt 3 ports, the Apollo X8p provides ample connectivity options. The Thunderbolt 3 ports are backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 1 and 2 Macs via an adapter. You can connect multiple Apollos and UAD-2 devices to build a networked studio system. The Apollo X8p also offers selectable +24dBu operation for compatibility with professional mixing consoles and other high-end pro audio equipment.
