The Apollo X6 features two Unison-enabled preamps that provide stunning emulations of coveted mic preamps from Neve, API, Manley, SSL and Universal Audio. Unison is UA's proprietary preamp modeling technology that nails the tone of these sought-after preamps by emulating their input impedance, gain stage sweet spots and component-level circuit behaviors.

Professional Connectivity and Control
With 16x22 simultaneous I/O over Thunderbolt, the Apollo X6 provides ample connectivity for professional studios. It offers selectable +24dBu operation for compatibility with mixing consoles and outboard gear. The Apollo X6 can be combined with up to three other Thunderbolt Apollos and six total UAD-2 devices, creating a powerful networked studio system.
