The Nord Piano 5 from Clavia is a powerful yet portable 73-note stage piano designed for live performance and studio use. It features dual piano engines with samples from nine grand pianos, nine uprights and 10 electric pianos in addition to clavinet, synthesizer and orchestral sounds. Advanced features like String Resonance, Dynamic Pedal Noise and Tru-Vibrato provide an authentic playing experience. With two independent sample synths, you have access to exclusive samples from Mellotron, Chamberlin and Symphobia to blend into your performances.

Dual Piano Engines Offer a Myriad of Sounds
The Nord Piano 5 is equipped with two separate piano engines so you can layer or split different piano sounds. It comes loaded with samples from nine grand pianos, nine uprights, 10 electric pianos and more. Sounds are carefully curated from Clavia's Piano Library and provide a realistic character. You can easily replace sounds using the Nord Sound Manager software.

Advanced String Resonance and Dynamic Pedal Noise
Nord's String Resonance feature reproduces the complex interaction of piano strings for an authentic tone. Engaging the pedal creates realistic damper sounds thanks to the Dynamic Pedal Noise. Between the keybed, string resonance and pedal noise, the Nord Piano 5 delivers an incredibly realistic piano playing experience.

Two Independent Sample Synths Provide Mellotron, Chamberlin and Symphobia Sounds
The Nord Piano 5 has two separate sample synths that give you access to a huge collection of sounds to layer with pianos or use on their own. It includes exclusive samples from Mellotron, Chamberlin and Symphobia libraries. A Unison feature blends multiple sample voices together for rich, ensemble sounds. The Tru-Vibrato effect accurately emulates the vibrato of strings, winds and brass for expressive playing.
