That means this active subwoofer reaches lows that many subs can’t produce. The DRM-18S will compliment your existing live sound PA system with tight low-end reinforcement. But it’s designed to perfectly match the rest of Mackie’s DRM Series, including the DRM-12A line array speaker. The DRM-18S can be flown, but is also designed to be stacked. It’s equipped with a pole cup for maximum versatility. With rugged construction, the Mackie DRM-18S powered subwoofer speaker is meant to withstand repeated use. The custom 18 woofer is housed in a texture-coated 18 mm plywood cabinet. The Mackie DRM-18S’s thick plywood enclosure delivers a warm, rich sound quality.The DRM-18S powered subwoofer also has next-generation protection and Power Factor Correction technology. Advanced Impulse DSP provides acoustic correction and time-alignment. The result is clear, punchy sound typically experienced only with massive touring systems.
