The popular G Series has been updated to provide the best of two worlds: the classic and the modern. All the traditional aspects that are time-tested and proven are retained while practical and sensible updates enhance playability and expanding the tonal palette for greater versatility. G200DX features maple fingerboard feeling smooth and slick as well as providing a classic woody look to the overall aesthetic of the instrument.
ASH BODY
Ash is one of the most popular and widely-used woods for solid-body electric guitars and basses. It is light weight but has a surprisingly strong, tight and punchy sound with emphasis on the high-midrange. This character makes Ash a beloved tonewood of discriminating bassists who want a strong fundamental tone that will cut through and be heard clearly in the mix. The natural beauty of Ash with its distinctive grain patterns make it ideal for transparent and natural finishes.
MAPLE FINGERBOARD
