At the heart of the SRX918S are two high-power 18" woofers with dual voice coils, allowing each driver to handle 1,500W continuously. Even Coverage Through Precision Waveguides
The SRX918S uses precision waveguides to disperse the sound from its woofers evenly over a wide area. This provides uniform coverage throughout the venue so everyone experiences the same full-range mix with solid low-end. The waveguides also focus the sound where you need it, reducing unwanted energy behind the subwoofer.

Advanced DSP Processing for Optimization
With on-board digital signal processing (DSP), you have control over the SRX918S's sound. A 24-band EQ lets you tune the frequency response, while delay allows you to time align the subwoofer with the rest of your system. JBL's ASC filter corrects the bass response for different array sizes and the TDC filter compensates for low-end loss over distance. You can also generate pink noise to test the system without a mixing console.

Rugged, Portable Design for Live Sound
The SRX918S is built to handle the demands of touring and live sound. Its 18mm plywood enclosure is reinforced to minimize flex and it has an IP-54 weather-resistant rating for outdoor use. Integrated handles and three-point suspension make transporting and suspending the subwoofer easy.
